The New York Times reported Stewart wondered if the Jews in the Center for Constitutional Rights might ask themselves, "Hey that fatwa said to kill all Jews everywhere. In any event Lynne Stewart will do 18 months and be in a half-way house in about 13. An examination of the sentencing in Federal Court reveals THAT ANYONE WHO GOES TO TRIAL DOES TEN YEARS. Any time she does won't be hard, it will be in a minimum security camp, and the other prisoners will treat her with respect as she will be a jailhouse lawyer and she certainly does not have to worry about being raped. After she gets out she has a job waiting for her modeling burkas...

As you may know, Lynne Stewart, Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman’s defense attorney, is also representing the three defendants in a hate crime case in my district. On the eve of Yom Kippur in 2000 three teenagers attempted to firebomb the Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, NY, a heavily Jewish community. In light of today’s indictments, what appeared to be an isolated incident in Riverdale may take on even larger proportions.
As stated in the indictment, it is alleged that in October 2000 Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman issued a fatwah ordering all Muslims to “fight the Jews and kill them wherever they are." The bombing incident in Riverdale also occurred in October 2000. The teenagers defended their attempt to destroy the synagogue by stating “I did this because of the Palestinian/Jewish conflict.”
As a result, I request that you investigate this case in my district to determine whether it is linked to global terrorism and Sheik Omar’s edict. In addition, I urge you to look at similar cases that have occurred in the U.S. since Sheik Omar’s alleged edict to determine whether they are also connected to global terrorism.

New York Times: Lawyer on Trial in Terror Case Finds Threat Left at Her Door
ynne F. Stewart, a lawyer standing trial on charges of conspiring with Islamic terrorists, said she received a written threat at her home in Brooklyn yesterday from a militant Jewish organization, as the jury deciding her fate finished 101/2 days of deliberations with no verdict.
Ms. Stewart said she found a five-line printed flier taped to her front door when she left for court yesterday morning just after 8.30. The flier said that Ms. Stewart and one of her clients, Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, were "traitors to America" and referred readers to a telephone number and to the Web site of the Jewish Defense Organization. A recorded voice mail message reached by dialing the number says the group - which describes itself as a militant Jewish group - is beginning "Operation Crush Terror Against Lynne Stewart." The message gives Ms. Stewart's home address and says she "needs to be put out of business legally and effectively," threatening to "drive her out of her home and out of the state."
Part of the campaign, the message says, is "to reach out so the jurors understand what she is." It adds, "And that's been done." Several more fliers were found by people attending the trial in the streets around the courthouse in downtown Manhattan, and others were taped to a building on Broadway where Ms. Stewart's law offices were located until recently.
Ms. Stewart's chief defense lawyer, Michael E. Tigar, presented the flier and a transcript of the voice mail message to Judge John G. Koeltl in the courtroom in Federal District Court. Mr. Tigar decided not to ask the judge to inquire whether any jurors had seen the flier or heard about the threat, saying that the questions themselves could give the jurors information they had not previously known. The jurors in the seven-month trial are anonymous.
Any improper outside influence on the jurors could be grounds for a mistrial. Mr. Tigar did ask the judge to order an investigation of the flier campaign, and to require the courthouse marshals to preserve surveillance tapes from cameras positioned outside the courthouse. Judge Koeltl did not take either step, but he urged prosecutors to look into what he called "law enforcement concerns" raised by the flier at Ms. Stewart's home.
Robin Baker, a prosecutor, argued that the fliers outside court were a legal form of political expression, not much different from the placards that Ms. Stewart's supporters have often carried there.
In a telephone interview after the jurors went home for the day, Jeff Klein, who said he was a board member of the Jewish Defense Organization and a spokesman, said the group had not tried to contact any jurors directly. He said the group decided to begin the campaign against Ms. Stewart on Monday night.
"We're stepping things up," said Mr. Klein, adding that he had recorded the voice mail message. "We're hoping she's convicted, but our campaign is to ruin her by getting her neighbors to evict her from her home, and to put pressure on the landlord to evict her from her office. When we're done making their life miserable, hopefully they will make her life miserable."
During the afternoon, Judge Koeltl met with two jurors who requested to see him individually, without other jurors present. Late in the day, in a sign that the deliberations were going slowly, two jurors sent the judge a note warning him of commitments that would prevent them from meeting on Feb. 17, eight days from now.

The possibility of a mistrial in the Lynne Stewart case loomed yesterday after the judge in the terrorism trial announced two jurors had sent him separate notes asking to speak with him.
U.S. District Judge John Koeltl notified lawyers of the development shortly after the jury deliberating in the case of Stewart and her co-defendants, Ahmed Sattar and Mohamed Yousry, returned from lunch at 1:30 p.m.
The three are charged with conspiring to pass terrorist communications between Stewart's imprisoned client, radical Muslim cleric Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, and his militant followers in the Islamic Group. Yesterday marked the 11th day of deliberations.
"The juror notes indicate that two individual jurors either need to speak to me or would like to see me," Koeltl said. "I will see the jurors in the robing room."
He added, "Now when I talk to deliberating jurors, I do that with great care, making sure that jurors don't tell me anything about the case."
The notes appeared to indicate there was some disagreement that could lead to a mistrial if jurors eventually declared themselves hopelessly deadlocked.
Koeltl spent less than an hour meeting with the jurors in his robing room, accompanied by representatives from the defense and prosecution - Yousry's lawyer David Ruhnke and Assistant U.S. Attorney Anthony Barkow.
After lawyers emerged to brief their clients and fellow attorneys, Sattar could be seen smiling broadly. But all parties declined to comment, saying Koeltl directed the discussions sealed.
As if to heighten the confusion, the jury foreman sent out another note at about 4 p.m. that read that a juror "needs to be at the hospital Friday Feb. 18, 19, 20. She just wants to let you know," and another note that read a juror "needs to be off Feb. 17."
The panel ended its deliberations at 4:15 p.m.
A second drama emerged after Stewart's lawyer Michael Tigar complained that a group, the Jewish Defense Organization, left a flier at Stewart's Brooklyn home yesterday labeling her a "traitor to America." The group said it launched "Operation Crush Terror against Lynne Stewart."
Tigar said the flier had a phone number for a recording giving Stewart's home address and proclaiming that she "belongs in a cage." Tigar noted the recording said the group wants to "make sure that she is convicted, to reach out so the jurors understand what she is, and that's been done."
Although Tigar initially told Koeltl he did not want an investigation, he returned from lunch to report he had found similar fliers around the courthouse, and he asked Koeltl to determine if jurors had been "reached."
Koeltl said he did not think the jurors, who are anonymous and escorted to and from the courthouse under guard of U.S. marshals, had seen the fliers. He directed marshals to investigate.
Jeff Klein, a group spokesman, said in a telephone interview last night the organization did not seek to tamper with jurors.
"Our idea is to make her stigmatized in her own neighborhood," he said. "This woman is a tool for terrorism. Hopefully the jury has been 'reached' by the evidence they heard."
Muhammad Omar Abdel-Rahman turned in KSM!
On February 14, 2003 police conducted a raid in the frontier town of Quetta,
looking for two foreigners - one of them Khalid Shaikh Mohammed - said to be
there. Neighbors had grown suspicious and tipped off police in hopes of a
reward. But the terrorist was gone by the time authorities arrived. Police
did arrest an Egyptian man who, after telling many different stories,
eventually gave his name as Muhammad Omar Abdel-Rahman, the son of Sheikh
Rahman who is imprisoned in the U.S. 
At first "Rahman admitted there was
someone else with him, but he never said anything about Khalid Sheikh
Mohammed," said a top police officer. Then under interrogation, Rahman told
police that Mohammed had also lived at the address. Finally, threatened with
the prospect of torture, Abdel-Rahman broke down, and agreed to help snare
KSM. Additionally, there was a great reward for KSM dead or alive and this
Egyptian traitor turned him in to cash in on the $25 million bounty plus an
additional $2 million to relocate to Britain with his family. News of
Abdel-Rahman's arrest was kept secret and contact was made with Khalid
Shaikh Mohammed via cellphone. This communication allowed the authorities to
follow Kahlid Mohammed's trail from Quetta by satellite pinpointing of his
cellphone transmissions and the rest is history. Bin Laden is too smart to be caught in the way. Bin Laden's son Saad was recently in the Iranian capital, Tehran, and it was a cell phone call to him that turned authorities onto bin Laden's trail. But bin Laden used his cell phone to misguide his pursuors.
Due to the fact that Rahman Jr.'s photo is widely available, a cover story was released that stated the Egyptian, was an “Al Qaeda foot soldier,” who was captured during a raid in Quetta. The British tabloid THE SUN reported "He is an Egyptian father of four and a suspected former Taliban officer who was tracked down by the CIA and arrested in Quetta on February 14, 2003." The F.B.I., C.I.A. and I.S.I. did not arrest Khalid Mohammed immediately but put him under city adjacent to the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.
